Leander is a brand by Sungwoo and VanDrie Group. The veal comes from specially selected calves of the VanDrie Group veal farms. This selection is made by experts from the VanDrie Group. The selected animals raised in group housing by the VanDrie Group veal farmers. The animals stay at the Dutch veal farms until 6-8 months.
Many calves are transported in comfort class cattle trucks to the VanDrie Group’s slaughterhouses. The calves are raised under high standards, with respect for people, animal and environment.
The Foundation for Quality Guarantee of the Veal Sector (SKV) carries out intensive checks at all of the VanDrie Group’s veal farms to monitor the calves’ health and quality of living. Thanks to this, and in combination with the VanDrie Group’s own quality system called Safety Guard, the group guarantees high-quality, safe and delicious Leander Veal.
